*I remember "patent leather" black shoes from the military, where people had trouble shining their shoes well enough. Now we have "patent blackmail" from un-resolved court cases? If I were Microsoft, I would put that money in escrow, because if they lose the patent case(s) against Google, won't they be liable to suit to recover all those license fees?
