Britain Set To Ban Google Glass From Use By Drivers Even Before It's Debut...

Story: http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/07/31/britain-set-to-ban-google-glass-for-drivers/

Under the assumption that Google Glass is "as distracting as cell phones and texts," British authorities are looking to ban Glass from use on the road - even though it acts as a heads-up display that would keep drivers' eyes aimed at the road while being given directions, unlike dash-mounted GPS units.

Personally, I think Google would be well-advised to incorporating a "driving mode" in the Glass OS version that limited the device to directions and audio calls only while in a vehicle with the engine running.

Glass - yeah, I'm geekin' curious about it, alright.
