All the elements are out there to replace a system of societal organization that was invented when the abacus was high-tech. They just need a focus of vision to coalesce and finally we'll be able to change the world.

Phillips A21 LED 19-Watt (100 W Incandescent Equivalent) Just Arrived
I
got four of them. They'll replace four 60-Watt incandescents in the
bathroom, for an energy savings of 164 Watts. These have a beautiful and
warm white light.
